You can either create an interactive install exe of SEP that will give you the option to choose where to install SEP or you can create a non interactive install of SEP with predefined instructions to automatically install SEP to any other location or drive you wish. SEP’s client install defaults to install SEP to the C drive if you have not taken any measures to reconfigure the install from SEPM. Removing SEP was easy of course, just an uninstall from Add or Remove Programs and a reboot. Fortunately the server has a D drive with 47 GB of free space, so among migrating several other programs from the C drive to the D drive, we also migrated Symantec Endpoint Protection. Recently my team ran into the common issue where one of our servers was almost out of space on the C drive.
